Guest feedback

As I predicted my sister loved every second of our time there. Sketched out various layouts you’d done and proclaimed it the most perfect place she’d been too. She loves everything you’ve done with the decoration which is her passion and declared she could come back in 10 years and you wouldn’t need to change anything!!! We read books, we laughed, we drank wine, I cooked, she cooked, we went to the café in Oturehua, Naseby, walked around St Bathans, snuggled back to the cottage and were in a state of bliss. I went for several walks around your beautiful property which was looking so tidy and spiffing really we were just in heaven. Perfect sisters’ weekend.

Local Activities and Events

Central Otago’s climate is the most similar to the Mediterranean of any New Zealand region. Its dry hot summers, cold still winters and vast empty spaces are a tonic for the body and soul alike

From world-class mountain-biking trails, pristine tussock lands, iconic views of the Hawkdun Ranges, historic towns and quirky shopping, local characters with rich personalities as well as wines and food of outstanding quality – this is unique territory and a holiday here will feed the memory bank for a lifetime. The Central Otago slogan of “A World of Difference” is apt but equally as accurate is one the locals like of “Big skies – Open hearts”.
