We absolutely loved Lombardy Cottage – it is so beautiful and the garden is enchanting. I had a lovely time wandering around breathing in the fantastic sweet peas and lavender, and marvelling at the vegetable garden, checking out the creek and all the planting. Sometimes when you look forward to going somewhere for a long time it can be a disappointment. Lombardy Cottage was better than I ever imagined.

Returning again to such a favourite hideaway savouring hot tub star lit moments listening to the sound of the stream; enjoying the cosy comfort of an easy fire, a snuggly armchair, and a well-stocked library; the engrained memory of neighbour Bob’s bluebells stretching beneath his hilly grove with intermittent pink and white bells and the odd scarlet tulip; Martha’s treasures a great discovery in Saint Bathans… the list goes on… can’t wait until our next visit.

What can I say! Lombardy Cottage is an absolute treasure, we felt we had died and gone to heaven! We have stayed in many, many beautiful places around the world with our travels (we actually have been incredibly spoilt) and we can honestly say Lombardy Cottage tops our list; you have created such a beautiful and homely environment with the perfect style, and the grounds OMG…..we didn’t want to leave!
